This July 4th, on the 250th birthday of the United States of America, we celebrate freedom, opportunity and the promise of the American dream.

At Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network (BIIN), we see that dream come alive every semester through our Citizenship classes.

Behind every student is a powerful testimony and a promising future. It's a parent hoping to vote for the first time with their children's future in mind. It's a grandparent who has watched his grandkids flourish and is now preparing to make them proud one more time. It's a hardworking neighbor who has been studying hard for their interview despite the long hours at work. It's anybody with a dream.

This year, we are launching our annual July 4th Campaign: 50 Stars for 50 Students. In 2025 alone, we served 110 students in our 10-week Citizenship program that runs every Fall and Spring. This is about 50 per semester. It costs just $76 to support one student. This includes materials, instruction and guidance. We are proud to offer every class free of charge thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers and supporters.
