Citizenship Classes

Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network (BIIN) offers free weekly citizenship classes in English and Spanish. Classes are held every Saturday for 10 weeks. Classes will be held in person at the BIIN office, which is located in the Grace Bible Church Midtown Campus.

Registration is open and ongoing. Classes will resume February 7, 2026.

Schedule: Saturdays, 9-11am (Spanish) & 11:30am-1:30pm (English)

Anyone interested in becoming a U.S. citizen is encouraged to take BIIN’s free class to help prepare them for the naturalization exam.

If you would like to join any of our classes, please fill out this form to register, call 979-393-8228 and leave a message, go to BIIN’s office and register in person, send a message on Facebook to: facebook.com/biintx, or email info@brazosimmigration.com.

To become a U.S. Citizen, immigrants must pass a Citizenship Interview. In their interview, they must answer at least 12 history and government questions (or 60%) correctly to pass the civics test. In addition, immigrants must be able to demonstrate competency in both spoken and written English, complete an N400 form, and bring a long list of documents.

BIIN sponsors three 10-week sessions of citizenship classes over the course of each year. In each session, the following materials are covered:

  • History and government of the U.S.
  • Oral and written English practice

  • How to prepare for the interview

  • Steps towards naturalization
